Stephen Frost and Dan Amrich from Digital Eclipse discuss the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, as well as what's next for the retro specialists.

All four games are available for cheap on GOG, though, and with GOG once you own them you own them forever. I suppose online play is appealing, but judging by the SF 30th Anniversary Collection, the lobbies aren't likely to be very active.

They're also adding documentary material to learn more about its history and the behind the scenes. Based on previous work by Digital Eclipse, it'll be worth it!

Personally I own them on GOG too, but I haven't figured out how to make them work fullscreen on Linux. And I prefer gaming on the couch in the TV or take the Switch with me anyway.
