That is certainly true. My concern is if Lemmy doesn't moderate to some arbitrary standard, one post could hold the entire platform liable. Something similar is happening with grindr rn. It's a bunch of think of the children shit. Smaller platforms can be target for political among other reasons and there seems little recourse.

Do you use pillboxes? Made a huge difference for me. They have slots per day of the week. I have 5 color coded ones. 2 greens are new. 2 blues, and a red when I'm almost out. I refill everytime I fill my prescription.

I like the Shame route but it's more of a curiosity thing. Like you want to know how an electric motor works so you hook it up to a 12v source before hooking it up to a 1000v source. In this case, the 1000v source is watching their beliefs get destroyed. I definitely said toxic things to the people on lemmy. It was toxic environment, mutually toxic. Effective is relative. Like if I wanted the angry mob to form well I succeeded, but I was trying to get them to explain how I was wrong, like actually putting it into words and then confront them on their logic. But I can say my methods are ineffective in the sense that people wouldn't explain how I'm wrong (I mean they wouldn't say how my methods are wrong) Re:zero anime has told me that I can't and shouldn't try to break people because they'll make their way through suffering. Now I undermine people in power by basically helping the fediverse , but I should stop undermine people even if I think they're displaying toxic traits

I weigh a little more but am a lightweight female drinker, and two standard drinks is my limit for a buzz that doesn't suck. So one double (that is what my homemade drinks usually measure) or two if we are out. Always bracketed by at least a pint of water before and after. Though if I am hungry, less than one. So as long as you are eating you should be fine. Strawberry Daiquiri usually is a pretty awful drink at restaurants though, not involving any actual strawberries.

I vaguely remember if I wanted to play it in single player, I would press select first before entering the code for it to trigger in the correct mode. LOL

Oldest. There's a podcast by Malcolm Gladwell where he says data shows the single best predictor of successful college application or success with college sports is your month of birth. Being oldest in the class comes as a huge advantage and is making many American families "red shirt" their child by putting them in school a year later; and this making them the oldest child in the class all the way through.

No offense intended to OP, but anyone who thinks the world works this way is hopelessly naive about the system we live in. When it comes down to it, the reason all of these issues exist comes down to Capitalism (Imperialism, Neoliberalism, Fascism, NIMBYism, w/e flavor you want). Good public transit is a great example because there are so many reasons we don't have it and all of them come down to Capitalism. the failure of our Healthcare system for the poor, unhoused, and uninsured means that severely mentally ill people make public transit feel unsafe. Ditto for criminalization of addiction and high poverty in general. The American government's reliance on the Petrodollar to control world trade promotes oil-based transportation options, especially inefficient ones that take more oil (since the goal is increased consumption, not efficiency). A general lack of tenant's rights and a tendency for local governments to favor landholders and and business owners over working-class renters (who tend to be more transient and are less likely to buy out local politicians) means that more attention is given to individualized transport (car infrastructure) and less to transport methods more suited to higher density. Not to mention the fear the petite bourgeoisie have towards poor people, who might potentially use public transport to invade their walled gardens. There are so many reasons even on top of these. They all come down to Capitalism; and, no, to the Liberals of Lemmy, I don't mean markets. Markets can do a lot of good when it comes to making efficient public transport, when managed correctly. The issue is the power that those with money (and not just the billionaires; the petty millionaires who own a couple strip malls is just as bad when it comes to opposition towards public transport) exert over our lives and governments.

This behavior is abusive. Talk to your school social worker. They specialize in this. They'll also tell you what they can/will share, and what is considered confidential, so you can start vague and choose your comfort zone from there.

This. We all love life. It's a gift we didn't ask for that we should cherish and make better for the next generations. But it isn't all positive moments. Bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad. Slowly chipping, away exhausting your mind as your body breaks down in new ways you didn't think of or know possible. You don't give up the fight because your alive and it's against human nature. But removed we are tired. A long nap seems peaceful. I wasn't incovenienced before I was born life keeps churning. I'm thinking it'll be the same after I'm gone. It's not from a place of insignificance. Rather you relish the good and positive you've done in life. You come to terms with it.

Why are you still here? Don't you have prayers to pray or thoughts to suppress? Be a good obedient puppy, you'd never be one of those who managed to quit your cult.

You don't owe your parents anything until after age 18. They are legally required to take care of you until then.

I use uBlock origin, have a PiHole, and use DuckDuckGo's app tracking protection. I've disabled all and still no change.
