    Allow me to shamelessly plug my introductory Marxist-Leninist reading list, if you don't mind! Lenin is a phenomenal author and is critical to modern theory. You can come to your own conclusions, but the works of Lenin I cite in my list I would consider the "essentials," and the works preceding them in the reading order to be helpful in contextualizing them.

    Believe it or not, I think the Christian Science Monitor puts out good articles. I'm not religious. I'm also not in the current US conservative camp. It's too bad it's paywalled. But the few articles I've read actually seemed nicely nuanced, pretty balanced, and interesting.

    Used to work at a casino as security and while recording employees with coin to fill the machines, we had to sign our name and employee number on literally hundreds of slips per day. I have signed my employee number on rent checks and even some Christmas and birthday cards without even realizing it. We also had to clear our hands by showing front and back of hands to the surveillance camera. I've unthinkingly cleared my hands on many occasions while shopping and putting something back on the shelf. It took me literally years to break those habits and I still occasionally fight to not sign my employee number.

    Sorry dude, got banned myself for “inciting violence”. What exactly did I do, you ask? I posted the four boxes of liberty and asked which one we were on. Pissed off some MAGAt who reported me, got me a one week ban, then came back and reported even older comments of the same. Despite me stopping once I was asked, the power hungry Reddit admins banned my main as well as a couple of alts they’d decided were tied to it (despite no bad behavior on any). Fuck Reddit.
