Rules: (interactive)

1) Be nice and; have fun

Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

2) All posts must end with a '?'

This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?

3) No spam

Please do not flood the community with nonsense. Actual suspected spammers will be banned on site. No astroturfing.

4) NSFW is okay, within reason

Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either [email protected] or [email protected]. NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].

5) This is not a support community.

It is not a place for ‘how do I?’, type questions. If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email [email protected]. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.

6) No US Politics.

Please don’t post about current US Politics. If you need to do this, try [email protected] or [email protected]

Arthur is by far my favorite video character of all time. V as voiced by Cherami Leigh is probably second for me. Playing in first person only, where you never see V’s face except when looking in a mirror, creates another layer of making decisions as you embody the character through the playthroughs, with pretty much every voice line chosen by you, and then seeing the outcomes of your choices (similar to RDR2) is what makes open world story-driven RPGs so excellent

Check out /r/OpenSignups on reddit for private trackers opening their doors for new users. There are a couple clones of it here on lemmy but they're both dead. You dont need to get into top tier stuff and if you see people saying otherwise they're just bragging about their "secret little club." Im in several midrange trackers and have zero issues finding content, new or old, using these with a few public trackers like 1337x and TPB as a fallback. Once you get in make sure you read and follow the rules. The big thing is to seed your downloads for however long they say minimum but preferably as long as possible as you'll likely gain bonus points doing this which you can then turn in for upload credit. Downloading freeleech content is also a good way to build ratio.

We kind of split it but when doing a grocery delivery subscription like hellofresh for a few weeks, I cook most of it because I find following the baby step instructions less tedious

Building nukes isn't that expensive. The most expensive part is probably building the enrichment facilities, but that's a one-time investment. Once you have all the material, a nuke isn't that complicated to build. A bunch of students basically designed one that was deemed to be functional. On the other hand, launching hundreds, possibly thousands of multi-ton projectiles into orbit is extremely expensive. And of course you have to maintain them in space somehow, possibly for decades. Either that or you have to de-orbit and replace them, which would mean regularly bombarding the ocean or some desert ... It's just not practical. Even if it was I highly doubt it would be cheaper.

No idea. I've never needed to use things like alt text, so I wouldn't know.

Fairly diverse. I try to avoid the censorship and propaganda across the spectrum as much as possible. The fediverse isn't quite there yet thanks to mod abuse and agendas, but it has the potential to be a bastion of free speech where truly diverse ideas can be available for all to see and partake in. Just about all social media and mainstream news is shit because of censorship. You either see it, or you don't. There's a culture that people are being conditioned to uphold, and anything that threatens said culture is suppressed as much as possible.

Just found a new one that works wonders: Click to Remove Element. Never seen anything so precise and clear to hide unwanted elements. And it can remember for future sessions. Awesome!

I know it's a week later but this has been weighing on my mind. It has to be such right? I wouldn't develop Krudler Fuel, with the hopes that in a couple years I will have completed development on the new Krudler Engine. That scenario would make no sense and illustrates that the naming of the fuel must have come later.

It was in my notifications. I figured I might as well give you the info anyway. The song 'Bob' by Weird Al Yankovic, which is all palindromes, does contain the original.

Well then best you can do is avoid things that could annoy your roommate and hope they aren't dbags themselves. Humans are really absurdly different on what sets them off but key things are noise, wierd sleep times, smells, roommate bringing over gf/bf. not respecting personal space and stuff are major no no's. Avoid heavy topics like politics, stick to popular shows and music at first in discussions, dont over share any information until you can trust them. Consider Knowledge about yourself is power. so guard it well . Probably more things but if you can do that you are probably golden. If you do get a bad roommate keep in mind ppl do drop and you may be able to move. try and be chill with the RA is you can. They are supposed to be neutral but when something goes down its best to know the judge. Ppl are going there to learn so very likely going to be ok. Unless its a party school then... best of luck.
