I had Arch ARM, but that is no longer an option on the first Pi Zero since they dropped support for anything less than ARM7. It's still applicable for Zero 2 though. The config was such that I had my phone and a fold-up Bluetooth keyboard for a terminal and connected to the Pi over Bluetooth PAN. The Zero had a PiVoyager board and a 26650 Li-ion cell for power - the whole thing fit in a case the size of a pack of cigarettes I could just have that in my bag, slap the phone and keeb on any surface and type away. I agree that setting the structure of the document as you go is the most effective way of doing things. Doing a separate pass for formatting is a chore best avoided!

Like ten years back, in a Finnish abandoned soap factory turned into hackerspace, I jokingly asked if I can pay by card for something silly. My jaw almost dropped as this private individual whips out a legit card reader and says yes. The devices are somewhat common now but that was my first interaction with it Idk what hoops they'd require you to jump through, maybe you need to be incorporated depending on the country or so, but I'd not be too surprised if they start supporting this sooner or later Think I've also heard about proposals or trials to transfer from phone to phone. What will be hard to not sound like a lie is that I don't have any sort of banking app on my phone... The future is bright ^^

I dunno about TRT but as a woman I'm not against taking HRT once I start the menopause. a lot of the scares abt it were from old studies. estrogen can preserve brain function, heart and bone health

FYI: If an admin looked at your blocklist (which AFIAK is stored on the instance), they could see that your old account also had the same blocklist and deduce that you are most likely the same person.

I think they mean why don't we just settle on the "winter" time. Which is actually the correct idea. The sudden change in sleeping causes heart attacks to skyrocket. Now, all those people would likely have one relatively recently, spread out like normal. But that's what the system is (kind of) made for. All of them happening the first day of "spring forward" overloads ambulances and emergency rooms. I think by now hospitals overstaff when it happens. Like, at least it's oredictable I guess. But there's no reason to keep switching

I use Android and Interstellar works on all of Mbin/PieFed/Lemmy and I know that they're implementing iOS support, but checking their page, it doesn't look like they've completed it yet; you might want to check back on it though. Most mobile apps work with Lemmy, as it's the oldest of the Threadiverse instance types.

Unless the user above you literally has the Epstein files in their possession and is seeking opinions about whether to release it, how exactly is telling someone to release the files in any way a “direct response to the subject matter?@

I don't think it's particularly surprising, but I am a big fan of different flavors of honey from different flower species, and often they sell variety packs of these from local honey places which imo is fancy and interesting. Jones Soda and Jelly Bellies make odd flavored items that some people really like. There's also rock candy that looks like pebbles or crystals depending on the version. There's also online popular candies (often sold by local vendors too) like the fancy marshmellows, cotton candy, and freeze dried candies. Also yellow kiwis, yellow watermelons, and other surprising colored fruits

Leave more fruit, or any kind of food in general out to discourage them Let dirty dishes pile up and remain a fixture in your sinks or kitchen surfaces. Dont do dishes in general reserve the wine and dishsoap and cling wrap and wine glass for your own personal and selfish consumption, those products are for humans, not friggin insects dont ever clean the kitchen and surfaces or disinfect anything ever. There's no cleaning in "the wild", its unnatural

Update: I cooked a batch of lentils, just to show myself I could, and experimented with adding spices etc. I ended up spraying them with mayonnaise and eating them semi-cold. Not great, not terrible. So today I was a little bit more ambitious: I made rice (a little slooshy but it's the best rice I've ever cooked!), cooked some lentils and used them as a meat substitute for spaghetti bolognaise (with rice being the substitute for pasta). To the lentils I added frozen vegetables with fried onion, garlic and a can of tomatoes. I need to fine-tune the recipe a bit, but it tastes pretty good! This bowl I'm eating now is filling me up very quickly, and I still have a lot for tomorrow. Here's a photo of what I'm eating now. It doesn't look great, but I'm just happy it turned out edible! Thanks for all the suggestions and well-wishes! [image: 3eff0beb-8379-4634-9138-7401f7740514.jpeg]

Okay, then get me a job that not only allows me to not wake up every day 6:00 in the morning (8:00 would be ideal), but also pays well enough to cook twice, so I can eat well while my mother continues to eat her Hungarian junk food but in child portions to not get fat.

Arthur is by far my favorite video character of all time. V as voiced by Cherami Leigh is probably second for me. Playing in first person only, where you never see V’s face except when looking in a mirror, creates another layer of making decisions as you embody the character through the playthroughs, with pretty much every voice line chosen by you, and then seeing the outcomes of your choices (similar to RDR2) is what makes open world story-driven RPGs so excellent

Check out /r/OpenSignups on reddit for private trackers opening their doors for new users. There are a couple clones of it here on lemmy but they're both dead. You dont need to get into top tier stuff and if you see people saying otherwise they're just bragging about their "secret little club." Im in several midrange trackers and have zero issues finding content, new or old, using these with a few public trackers like 1337x and TPB as a fallback. Once you get in make sure you read and follow the rules. The big thing is to seed your downloads for however long they say minimum but preferably as long as possible as you'll likely gain bonus points doing this which you can then turn in for upload credit. Downloading freeleech content is also a good way to build ratio.

We kind of split it but when doing a grocery delivery subscription like hellofresh for a few weeks, I cook most of it because I find following the baby step instructions less tedious

Building nukes isn't that expensive. The most expensive part is probably building the enrichment facilities, but that's a one-time investment. Once you have all the material, a nuke isn't that complicated to build. A bunch of students basically designed one that was deemed to be functional. On the other hand, launching hundreds, possibly thousands of multi-ton projectiles into orbit is extremely expensive. And of course you have to maintain them in space somehow, possibly for decades. Either that or you have to de-orbit and replace them, which would mean regularly bombarding the ocean or some desert ... It's just not practical. Even if it was I highly doubt it would be cheaper.

No idea. I've never needed to use things like alt text, so I wouldn't know.
