"Should you" as in "is it morally/ethically wrong?" No, it's not. "Should you" as in "is it a good idea?" No, it's a terrible idea. And I think you know that on some level.

The critical battlefield experience can be had on Linux. By that I mean checking to see if it's selling better than Call of Duty and arguing about it.

I still prefer the original, but it's still Santolalla so it's good. Hadn't heard of BSS before. Thanks.

Thanks for the constructive response. Schnauss doesn't rewrite the rules and has even gone on record as saying that the techniques used by classical composers for traditional instruments translate very well to making music with electronics. Instead of expecting something that tries to set itself apart as much as possible from what came before, I'm referring to artists that build upon the ideas of the past. Another artist who you've probably never heard of that fits this bill is William Orbit. He's already bigger than Schnauss and way more recognized because of his collaborations. I guarantee if you haven't heard of him, you've heard a song he's collaborated on. Listen to some of his solo stuff: Hello Waveforms, My Oracle Lives Uptown, Strange Cargo 5. He actually 'recently' released a new album called The Painter and I highly recommend it. It's the same concept as with Schnauss. They don't ignore what came before; they learn from and integrate it into something more. I think the longevity of the Beatles compared to Elvis coincides with how much younger they are. Sure, they're not "that much younger," but the difference seems to linearly relate to their staying power; I'd expect the Beatles to be as relevant as Elvis is now in a few years. That's not to say there's no chance for a brief resurgence of any of their music. Look at how fusion from the 80s made a comeback a few years ago. It didn't lead or change the direction music is going, but people could still find value in it after the "been there, done that" phase has passed.

Your verbose tear down of my use of "ability" seemed like an attack on the concept itself, especially when you combined it with attacking the concept itself. That's also not where you started. I do think money is the problem. Maybe love of money is more pressing at this time, but if we don't keep the goal of eliminating money in mind, I don't think we'll get anywhere substantially different from where we're at. But I'm willing to agree to disagree on that point for the time being. I did not flood the dialog, I made no call to action, and I would've preferred critical analysis of the problems of money over talking about tense. If you want to have debates instead of arguments, I suggest examining your approach.

I have seen a waterbug in India once, it's got nothing to do with a roach. It's about 20cm wide, with pincers thick almost like my pinky finger. Absolutely stunning if you've never heard about them before

Damn really? Thats wild how different peoples voice preferences are. I found it really calming and nice to listen to. I have also heard some voices that were unwatchable to me tho, so its not like i enjoy all voices.

Ah, you're referring to the tendency of certain narcissistic people to treat others as an extension of themselves. That's certainly not what I mean. The golden rule works for the most part, but it also needs to create the Other to work. What I'm thinking about is closer to the philosophy of Ubuntu, sometimes stated as "I am because we are". Seems to me that someone who hates themselves is living with a tremendous shadow that completely cuts them off from unconditional love. Thus one lives in a constant state of war against themselves. I always enjoyed this clip of Alan Watts reading Carl Jung's thoughts on the subject.

I had Arch ARM, but that is no longer an option on the first Pi Zero since they dropped support for anything less than ARM7. It's still applicable for Zero 2 though. The config was such that I had my phone and a fold-up Bluetooth keyboard for a terminal and connected to the Pi over Bluetooth PAN. The Zero had a PiVoyager board and a 26650 Li-ion cell for power - the whole thing fit in a case the size of a pack of cigarettes I could just have that in my bag, slap the phone and keeb on any surface and type away. I agree that setting the structure of the document as you go is the most effective way of doing things. Doing a separate pass for formatting is a chore best avoided!

Like ten years back, in a Finnish abandoned soap factory turned into hackerspace, I jokingly asked if I can pay by card for something silly. My jaw almost dropped as this private individual whips out a legit card reader and says yes. The devices are somewhat common now but that was my first interaction with it Idk what hoops they'd require you to jump through, maybe you need to be incorporated depending on the country or so, but I'd not be too surprised if they start supporting this sooner or later Think I've also heard about proposals or trials to transfer from phone to phone. What will be hard to not sound like a lie is that I don't have any sort of banking app on my phone... The future is bright ^^
