    As Gratux explained style or padding. Once one section (or topic) of an exam is done they occasionally pad it and the last (back) page is generally left blank and is the designated “doodle to amuse yourself/examiner” space.

    I don't know if it's just me but last time I browsed Reddit or Facebook they just gave me a bunch of unhinged right-wing phobic bullshit. I dunno if it's because my privacy skews their data on me or if they're just trying to feed me misinformation but either way fuck these companies.

    That's what clothes are for! I live in northern Indiana and ride through most of the winter unless the road conditions feel unsafe. The trick is wearing a second inner layer (easy if you go to work in a collared shirt or fleece) as well as a leather jacket, gloves, and bar mitts (keeps the wind and the snow off your hands). In the spring and fall I keep a light jacket and gloves in my bag just in case it's unusually cold that day for whatever reason. That said, some biking to work is better than none!

    This may be unpopular, but I don't use the dividers at checkout. I just wait my turn. Once all the previous person's stuff is scanned I start loading my stuff on the belt. By the time they finish paying, even with a tap card, I've got the belt full and I'm waiting again. Some guy got mad at me at Costco recently for it. I guess he really wanted to get some stuff out of his cart while the person in front of me was still getting scanned. It feels like flooring it to every red light. You still have to wait, so what's the point?

    For me it's more about solid-to-liquid ratio, soups are often "thick" but still liquidy overall. Stews are cooked down until there's basically no broth, essentially just a gravy. My personal distinction is that stews can be eaten on a plate, soup can't be.
