    You can’t just say “hurt durr Americans are just irresponsible;” Actually, I can. That's why americans are more obese and have more credit card debt - it all boils down to irresponsibility. I’m trying to have a conversation about what it would take to actually solving the problem here Solving the problem would be rather simple, subsidize healthy food so a cucumber doesn't cost 6$. Make mandatory cooking classes in school so kids know how to cook, at least to some extent. The magical word is "education". even if the problem really were that Americans were more irresponsible on average compared to people from other countries There is no "if". They are. there would have to be a systemic reason why No. It boils down to people eating shitty food and not knowing/having no interest in knowing how to cook. Like, we can argue all day about american processed food being full of additives and sugar and high fructose corn sirup etc, which is certainly the case, but at the end of the day, the people who eat it know that this is the case, so they are irresponsible, and if they don't, it once again boils down to education.

    Someone, not a therapist, told me pain isn't a competition. I don't have to wait for my pain to be worse than the pain of the people around me before I go get help for myself. In this case, I had physical pain I put off getting checked because it wasn't worse than what why partner deals with daily. Turned out I needed antibiotics for a bad infection.

    I used to think that if I could have a superpower I'd like to be able to take a big rancid shit at will, but open up a portal so it would arrive in the pants of a person of my choosing. But these days, what's the point? Most world leaders could be absolutely destroyed by a well timed beer dump, but Trump wouldn't even notice anything unusual.

    You joke, but I'm missing a nail on one of my big toes and it's so much more comfortable and less hassle that I kind of wish all my toenails were gone. ...not so sure about fingernails though. They're pretty useful for picking things up or prying things open.

    I'm really disappointed that the patterns repeat after just a handful of letters. Whoever did this should have laid out the letters all the way around. They just designed 6 feet of it then ctrl+c ctrl+v ctrl+v ctrl+v ctrl+v ctrl+v NOT OK!!!
