    I mean, I'm totally down for the burn it all to the ground approach, too. It'd certainly be much better long term. Reformism at this point is definitely more akin to a bandaid when you need a full amputation.

    I accidentally did this when getting into skateboarding edits. My player is set to default to 1.75x speed. I happened to watch a video on a new browser or something and literally thought gravity was acting differently for a sec because how much more airtime they were getting then I realized I had trained a misperception of gravity into myself.

    Putting this in a seperate comment because it is unrelated but that is a completely acceptable reason to hate part 2. (Like most good stories) it's not made for everyone. I think the reason you (and others who dislike part 2) were (wrongfully) labeled as a bigot is because most the hate for the game came after the leaks and before the release, so all people knew was that ::: spoiler spoiler They're killing off the male main character, that's so woke!!!! ::: and all reasonable criticism that came after were unfortunately assumed to be in that group.

    Wow, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised given what I already knew about the history and present-day reality of humanity's interactions with animals, but I'm still surprised. It's notable that on the island your links describe, the entire penguin "industry" and several shipwrecks' worth of dead sailors were the product of one moderately-successful entrepreneur's ambitions, that he received widespread condemnation at the time, and that this condemnation was not enough to stop him.

    Well, I did think about keyword filters due to the post saying Lemmy, but if the post said Pixelfed I was immediately think of image filters. Depends on the service.
