If Musk succeeds in "repealing all regulation", what's the best strategy for a normal person? Unethical answers only.

It's cute that you think anyone but the richest people and biggest corporations will be deregulated.
-
I mean realistically what are you gonna do, appeal to their better nature? We've been trying to do that since when... Reagan? Nixon? The right has only dug in deeper and deeper, and now the Nazis are back.
We're long overdue for some fuck about and find out time IMO.

Fair enough, just have been banned before for writing kill
-
Likely not on Lemmy.ml, different admins and mods.
-
I'm not some anti-censorship SovCit nut or anything...but any platform that doesn't let me say "kill" is not a platform I want to be on.
Hell...suicide, abortion, murder, rape...we need to talk about these things sometimes. If users want to opt-in to trigger word filters, by all means. It should be up to the user if "Rape" and "Musk" are in the same category and shouldn't show up on their screens.

Which is why I wrote technically, I don’t disagree that we’re better of without certain people.

OP said "unethical answers only".

Oh you're talking about angry signs and picketing outside? Nevermind

I work for a big corp that already ignores their own regulations
I'll start opening products, pissing in them, and putting them back on the shelf. It won't help anything but I'll personally enjoy it

All drugs should be legal

Run for office?
-
Yup, this is classic "we'll abolish the EPA but your 8 year old still is forbidden from running a lemonade stand."
-
I think maybe I'll just open an online shop that sells everything that's illegal. Only I won't ship anything and I'll keep all the money for myself. It won't take long for that to catch up to me, but it'll be fun for about five minutes.

That already exists and it's called every new market on the darkweb. Everytime one goes down its super disruptive because half the things are scams and it takes months of people buying and rating to establish any legitimate vendors.
-
Open a paper or animal feed factory in residential area and instead of trying to mitigate the smells to the public, amplify them.
-
no, im usually talking about striking.
but picketing outside their homes and offices can be effective when its angry enough.

Garson, I'll avoid the lobster bisque and the meringue pie please.
