Yeah I don't know when this tweet is from but I imagine that it's talking about the 50501 protests. Which the NY times covered extensively.

Then again, literally every single time I've seen a comment like this online talking about "nobody is talking about this!!!!" every single major newspaper has multiple articles about it. I don't know why people keep falling for this when it's the easiest thing on earth to prove. Like guys, just Google the thing """nobody""" is talking about.

I reject imperalism, I recognize state influence on media (especially in authoritarian nations) is a major threat to society, billionaires are a cancer, and everyone deserves their basic needs met.

I understand the devistation of nickle, cobalt, and other mines and recently spent several months in countries around their main sources in SEA. I've lived in China for a few years, and I currently live in a country formerly under communist control.
I think you are dreaming about an ideal that doesn't actually exist. There are attrocities across the board.

WSJ reported "tens of thousands" attending trumps parade which was the most honest thing I've seen from major papers. then next sentence was "hundreds of thousands" attending the no kings protests. While that is technically true, it misrepresenta the 5 million who protested across the country and felt like a concession to not make trump's birthday parade look as bad.

they were suspicious not mentioned on most MSMs at all, instead they were focused on the coincidence occuration of israels attack on iran at the same time, and the assasinations of the Dems to distract from.
