I'm so glad my gift could bring them closer together. My plan to phase myself out is nearly complete.

Romulus is better than it has any right to be. The Alien 3 “Assembly Cut” is also decent. Not good, but not awful.

                What I wouldn’t give for Tarantino’s single-film supercut. 😞

CLI + VR and specially GPUs to be able to hack in those UI... For a moment while watching Superman (2025) I had those flashbacks (Luthor's employees in fight scenes).

                          For me it's The Matrix.

I never like to retread old ground, but this one's an exception. It's hard to overstate how much it blew our minds 26 years ago. I might have a soft spot for it too because I was raised sheltered and it was the first rated R movie I saw.

It's a shame they didn't make any sequels. The creators probably decided it was a complete story rather than milk it to death like Star wars. Guess that's for the best!

                            Moneyball - very good choice.
I'd like to add "The Big Short" as well.

Hackers. Yes, it's corny - cheesy, even - but it had a great cast with awesome chemistry, and it did a great job at capturing the zeitgeist of hacker/punk culture. Plus so many memorable quotes...

I'm also giggling at the thought of spending that kind of money on a VR headset just to use for a console lol

Especially when you dive into the fan made theories, like Donny is a figment of Walters imagination, Walter killed his ex-wife and her husband, the dude is the big Lebowski's illegitimate son.

I don’t think the Dude could be his illegitimate son since that’s part of the reason Maude referred him to that doctor. He wouldn’t have been very “thorough” if he missed that they were related.

THE Suicide squad. It was so good that Tim Gunn earned the right to be boss of the DCU, and has proved it again and again.
