Idiocracy
There’s something about that close-to-home dystopian outlook that calms me. Now go away, I’m batin’!
I like money.

Hackers. Yes, it's corny - cheesy, even - but it had a great cast with awesome chemistry, and it did a great job at capturing the zeitgeist of hacker/punk culture. Plus so many memorable quotes...
Hack the planet!

What’s wrong with me?!
I’m getting what I deserve I’m reaping what I sow—
I'm so glad my gift could bring them closer together. My plan to phase myself out is nearly complete.

Aliens
Too bad they didn't make any more of them.
Romulus is better than it has any right to be. The Alien 3 “Assembly Cut” is also decent. Not good, but not awful.

It’s my favorite movie of all time and I watch it every October.

What I wouldn’t give for Tarantino’s single-film supercut.

Hack the planet!
CLI + VR and specially GPUs to be able to hack in those UI... For a moment while watching Superman (2025) I had those flashbacks (Luthor's employees in fight scenes).

I watched this for the umpteenth time just last night! Always a good one.

For me it's The Matrix.
I never like to retread old ground, but this one's an exception. It's hard to overstate how much it blew our minds 26 years ago. I might have a soft spot for it too because I was raised sheltered and it was the first rated R movie I saw.
wrote last edited by [email protected]It's a shame they didn't make any sequels. The creators probably decided it was a complete story rather than milk it to death like Star wars. Guess that's for the best!

Moneyball - very good choice.
I'd like to add "The Big Short" as well. Both based on books by the same dude! Something I didn't realize for quite some. I need to go read his shit.

Shit I haven't seen the new Superman, is it any good?
I'm also giggling at the thought of spending that kind of money on a VR headset just to use for a console lol

Ghostbusters. Absolute perfection.
Yes, it's true, this man has no dick.
