It was on my watchlist for a bit and I finally got to it today. The themes were heavier, especially with Simon's (Jack Quaid) mental health. I couldn't say how accurate his portrayal of paranoid schizophrenia is, but it was more than enough for me to really feel for him.

It's one of the first times I've watched Jeffrey Dean Morgan in something since I stopped watching The Walking Dead (because of his character, actually). In this movie, Deerman is quite a mess of a human, but he makes up for it.

Overall, I enjoyed the film. I really appreciate how they ended it. I wish there was an epilogue so I could know what happens to Simon.

    What did you all think?

I enjoyed this one, felt it was worth my time. But I can't see myself ever wanting to go back to watch it again.

I probably wouldn't either, but that would be pretty abnormal for me anyway. There's a very small subset of films that I watch more than once.

What kind of movies do you find yourself rewatching?

I rewatch films pretty regularly. There are two types, "candy" films that are purely entertainment and I'd put them on on the background while doing something else. It's nice to have one you've seen so you don't need to give it full focus. Then there are films that have had an impact on me that I rewatch because I enjoy the art. A truly great film cannot be absorbed all in a single viewing. Examples of some of my favorites are Brazil, The Aviator, Gattaca, etc...

              Yep. Makes sense.

This week at home, Clue was playing for the umpteenth time. Week before that, I am pretty sure I heard Back to the Future again.

I also have another category--introducing my kids to something from my childhood. Those can be hit or miss for them.
