Not a single company I've worked for actually makes FOSS contributions to the dependencies they rely upon.
They usually don't but some do. I'm only cherry picking this because I don't know much about Big Tech and FOSS. Bootstrap was developed in Twitter, React is maintained by Facebook/Meta, AngularJS was maintained by Google in the past but it's now discontinued. Google also has Summer of Code. I'm not a Big Tech shill but the larger ones do make some contributions.
