Why don't they change the licence of FFMpeg to GPL so that everything uses it is open source? It'd be a win-win.
Probably big tech companies would fork it from an older version.

Maybe not specifically PH but porn actually always was the driving force for the net since day 1. We don't have high speed net now because someone needed to download a linux-distro quicker. Or google harder. YouTube and vimeo and such came waaaaaaay later. There also were no social media where people needed to upload large dog-pics. It was porn. Everyone wanted their tits to download NOW not somewhere in the future.
And I vividly remember the times where you had to wait for a long while to see your image grow line by line until you finally maybe saw said tit, and it surely - and hopefully - wasn't a bird

Haha I remember that time too well. Luckily I had a CC and I bought everything on the net back then and was so fascinated by it. Typing a number in and getting stuff. I ordered crap from the other side of the world, it was incredible.

I'm a seeker. When I'm on mobile and I double tap and instead of going back a few seconds it pauses and unpauses, or changes from full screen or something, or worst of all "likes" the video, I have literally left websites before and been like "I'll find this somewhere else". I cannot stand having to wing it with a tiny scrub bar under my thumb.
A button that skips back is fine, but often this comes without a skip forward which is sometimes annoying.
When my phone is in portrait for browsing, and then I hit full-screen on a landscape video, I expect it to rotate for me, rather than showing the video the same size it already was but with huge black bars above and below. Some sites do it, it's not technically impossible, figure it out.
And then never use TikTok
I mean, I agree that in an ideal world, people would just not use TikTok, and let it die. But they use it, because it hijacks their dopamine response, it uses pavlovian and skinnerian conditioning to trap people into cycles of behavioral control, and they don't know or care enough to stop using it. It's literally the same thing a drug like weed does to your dopamine receptors.
And you could say "just don't use it yourself", the problem is this mass compliance leaks onto every other platform. Stories/shorts were a Snapchat issue, now they're an internet issue. Everyone is getting brainwashed, and as a result, we get shit software spilling over from their shit platforms.
Maybe I got a little too doomer with this one, but how could I not, when taking about modern day social media...

There is nothing wrong with watching porn if you feel like it. What you do in your own home is your own business. Just don't wank too much, or you are going to have health issues. Which are also totally normal and you should just go talk to your doctor, they will not be surprised or shocked, it is literally their job to deal with stuff like that.I feel the world is going crazy. Shoving all of this stuff under the carpet isn't helping anyone and won't make it go away. Half of the time I can't understand my young niece and nephew because they speak in this code language, evolving all the time so they can talk about normal stuff young people talk about and stay ahead of the big censor machine. And often it's censored so poorly, everyone can still read it, like what was the point then?

You would have to ask a doctor, don't take medical advice from the internet.
From what I know it can irritate the skin and can lead to long term issues with the skin like dermatitis. It can also cause blood vessels to rupture under the skin, which is usually not a big issue and will heal. But it can cause some pain and leave a mark when healed and will only heal when it is given time to rest up, which can be hard if one is used to a lot of masturbation. If it isn't allowed to heal, it can cause more problems. I'm sure there can be more issues, but I don't know about those.
A lot of the risks of masturbation are myths or exaggerated a lot. Wanking once or twice a day is probably fine. And your body will let you know when you've overdone it.
And to add: Poor hygiene is a lot bigger risk than masturbation ever is. Keep your bottoms clean!

Sure there are areas where there is more "free" support. But the shit that runs servers and the web, highly highly corporate supported. Nothing about it is free.
