I think the answer is some kind of cynical optimism. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. You never know, they might all die tomorrow in a plane crash or something.
My cynical take on that stance is they probably overstaff the airpots they are flying through to ensure that doesn’t happen. But yea maybe they fall down an elevator shaft.

I mean no offense towards you; I want you to know this. I guess I just finally realized what it is that bothers me about that statement. In fact, I share your sentiment. Because not only are they poorly made, common sense safety measures are removed and replaced with poorly engineered crap that traps people, while other badly designed components catch fire and burn them to death.

The car is objectively terrible. It's ha heavy duty car that can't do heavy duty things. The cybertruck has two things that it does well. It goes fast when you hit the accelerator and the sound system is really good. Everything else is extremely shitty, and a complete lie
It has a bold futuristic exterior design and looks.

The Cybertruck isn't even that good.
I liked the homer car. Massive trunk space, 360 view, small A pillars. And having the kids separate so you aren't distracted by them. Only negative is you can't look back.

The lack of a roof is a big negative too. There have been experiments with bubble-roof cars before and it's not fun to be in a plastic bubble when the sun is overhead.

Somewhat ironically, they understaffed the airport they all fly through, and yet somehow it was innocent civilians that died.
I detest this timeline. I am disgusted, really. I've never quite understood hate, though; to me hate feels like making a solemn vow that subject of my hate will always have power over me. Because hate is irrational. It overpowers reason. But it is only through reason and logic I find myself.
The catch 22 is fear. Fear also deprives is of reason, but it also shames us, lessens us. Just as Yoda taught us, "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."
I don't wanna suffer anymore. But I don't want anyone else to suffer, either. Not even those responsible; I just want them gone from our timeline.

All they had to do was build a solid, reliable truck, and not be fascist. Instead they build a poorly glued together piece of shit and sieg heil. I fucking hate this timeline.
And SpaceX had such good publicity, also notably one aesthetically the very opposite of sieg heil.
