Trump threatens to blow apart entire G7 to protect Putin
-
Have you uh… actually been to China?
Yes. Almost a dozen times.
Or talked to anyone from China (in real life)?
Yes.
Without fail, anyone with the means is actively trying to leave.
Have you thought about why? Ask them to describe the US. They've been told an astonishing amount of propaganda about the US that is all incredibly untrue. I'm telling you. Actually talk to these people that you're "in contact" with about how they view the US. They believe that every US Citizen is a millionaire. They think we have good healthcare. They think we all live in great houses. They think we all work a few hours a week and get paid a lot for it... It's never ending. So I mean, yeah. If you get told there are places like that in the world of course you would want to leave your home country.
-
Replace the US with China
-
I've always wondered why so many people peacefully marched into the trains, trucks, and death camps, then I see the sheer amount of people like you who say that and remember why. Maybe it's a personality thing, some of us who are faced with annihalation vs annihalation with a fight, we choose the latter. Most people will just take annihalation peacefully out of fear or laziness.
-
Nah, the Democrats did that.
-
Could you kill baby Hitler?
-
The democrats who voted surprisingly voted for Harris so I don’t know what you’re on about.
-
If you think any fact will affect the American public, you are much more optimistic than me.
Republicans will blame Soros, o Pelosi, or AOC and trump will have even more support.
-
The Democrats politicians who didn't put Trump away and refuses to let go of their billionaire money for the sake of most important election the US is facing yet are the ones who voted Trump in. Blaming the non-voters is just playing into the oligarch's hand.
-
In our system the votes get counted to figure out who won so the non-voters said they are okay with what’s happening.
-
That would piss them off so much lol
-
It was a thought I had too, but tbh I feel iffy about China.
If China's willing to stop supporting Russia, I could see the west sans US starting closer ties with China. That alliance would be an economic powerhouse for sure.
-
So you've been in the last few months since you learned these great things? Or was it before Covid, when people were physically caged into their apartments?
Was it only to the sterilized foreigner hotels on business trips? Or did you ever stay with locals who had to register your passport with the local police?
Were you able to spend physical currency or was everything already hooked up to official biometric identification (payments tied to socials tied to state id)?
I'm not asking to be confrontational, but the shiny foreigner facing China of yesteryear is nothing like the domestic atmosphere of China today. Their international digital presence is as carefully managed as their local platforms.
The locals I've met definitely have a positive view of the US, but things have gotten very dark very quickly under Xi. Think about why they could have started their emigration at any time but are choosing now.
-
It's almost as if he works for Putin
-
I figure the best way to convince China to stop supporting Russia is to give them a better option. Europe is a bigger economy and more in line with many of China's goals. Russia is chaotic and weak by comparison.
-
Blow it apart. America doesn't belong with its former Allies.
Its clear that America has no interest in being apart of the free world, they checked out.
Now fuck off and go destroy yourselves in a frenzy over transgender bathroom doors and eggs. The rest of us still have lives to live and futures to protect.
-
Yes, PLEASE! The rich fucks need to start feeling the consequences of this bullshit where it hurts. It's the only domestic demographic that can offer enough pressure to motivate this administration to change their behavior.
-
That's assuming they even pay attention to anything international other than Ukraine or Israel (many don't).
-
So you’ve been in the last few months since you learned these great things? Or was it before Covid, when people were physically caged into their apartments?
I married a Chinese national and spend a month or two in China every year since.
Look man. You need to fucking stop. You look like an absolute douchebag.
-
Maybe he does.
Maybe Putin's colleagues found out something interesting about Trump back in the days, and made him an offer he could not refuse - "go and become King of America, we'll even help you a little, but you'll serve us".
Wild speculation, of course. But he definitely doesn't have national interest burdening his mind in any way or manner.
P.S. If I worked in the Secret Service, I would use my telescope to watch birds fly and tree leaves wobble. Even if there was a remote weapons station turning towards my client, or a wire guided object coming in - I would hardly notice until impact.
-
That's definitely true, and the thought has crossed my mind before.
Anything an European company manages to sell in China is going to be a huge boost too. It's the damn IP laws that are a pain to work with, though. A Chinese company perfectly clones your product? Well, you're not going to win if you sue them.
