Most likely inappropriate sarcasm. Or an angry mob. What.....I'm not a people person, okay??

God willing, age? Natural death as they call it, ideally 85+. If not, probably lung or stomach cancer. Hopefully in my old age, again.

Most likely a skiing/mountain biking/car/surfing/hiking/tragic boating accident would be my best guess, other than cancer... If you're not suicidal, a risk taker or into extreme sports it's most likely going to be cancer though

A total breakdown of society at some point in the next decade

My most likely cause of death is the same as most men my age:
Falling off a ladder.

Suicide as my body/finances will have deteriorated to the point where life isn't worth living.

Cancer

Heart attack

Just like the old fortune teller said!

Barring any sort of major accident. Almost certainly suicide.
But not in an "I'm depressed, get me out of here by any means necessary kind of way."
More in the, if I have terminal disease, or am otherwise going to be suffering a slow painful death, or I'll be a burden to those around me because of health limitations, I'll take myself out of the equation quite logically and happily.
So in that regard, there are only two possibilities; sudden accident, or taking care of it myself when the alternative is a slow decline.
And yes, old age is just another terminal disease, just on a longer timescale.

some prick in an oversized truck
I wanted to agree but then I remembered my last scooter accident had nothing to do with a bad car driver and everything to do with me getting distracted by dogs and crashing into a fence. Thankfully for everyone else and myself I stick to bike trails and try not to venture into real traffic.

One of my favorite professors was giving a class to me and other 200 about algorithms in a huge room. Suddenly he stops and drops âyâknow, statistically speaking, 2/3 of this room will die of cancerâ. So yeah, the odds are not on my side.

wrote on last edited by [email protected]Unfortunately mom & her mom got dementia, so unless something comes along earlier to kill me, or unless we get a good preventative, that is more likely my fate.
No, they weren't overweight or smokers or physically idle, my mom was a professor and kept lifelong friends, really no lifestyle risk factors. Of course that's only on the one side of my family, my dad died of heart condition that I don't have and I'm not sure about his parents.

Your saliva contains microscopic amounts of toxins. As you swallow, these toxins collect in your body, and eventually they'll reach critical mass and kill you. The amount of toxins in your saliva, and the total amount required to kill you is very individual, so nobody knows which will be their last drop. Still, one day I'll swallow my last bit of saliva and die.

Unlikely. I'm sure the other nato countries will step in.
You're more likely to die from a drone attack in the USA-NATO war than in some camp.

A combination of health issues stemming from poor diet and sedentary lifestyle.

Unlikely to be a singular cause.
My extreme height and recreational drug use will likely factor in.

Step in and do what? Cross the ocean to launch a counter-invasion against the biggest military force on the planet? And how long that would take? It took 5 years until Europe was liberated, well long enough for 11 million people to be executed in the concentration camps.

You forgot about the nukes UK and France have.
Drop a few tactical nukes along the US-Canada border and make it a toxic wasteland to cross.
And threaten to escalate.
Also, the US Military will splinter immediately before the war begins, there will be infighting. Along with all those in National Guards. It will be a US Civil War 2.0 happening concurrent with the US-Nato War. NATO will support the anti-fascist part of the US Civil War.
The US might be powerful, but is a fascist US also that powerful?
Think about all the women and black military officers they fired. All those classified intel they have in their head. Surely they aren't just gonna let the US go full fascist. They'll leak intel. Maybe reveal secret backdoors, etc... the fascist's OPSEC isn't exactly good

A - UK uses Trident, an American launch system, so it's likely that any attack against America by the UK would somehow be disabled
B - that's not how MAD works. If France, or the UK, launched anything nuclear the retaliation would be immediate and immense.
C - why try to invade 11 million canadians when there are only a few tens of thousands of greenlanders? If an intra-NATO war happens, that's the more likely one imo.
