Delivery routing helps. All my packages get rerouted to a shop where I pick them up when I want.

IDK if you should be riding that motorcycle. You can't even reach the pedals!

wrote on last edited by [email protected]Yeah I’ve setup DHL deliveries to automatically deliver everything addressed to me to a nearby package locker. I always get my packages way sooner than if I let the delivery driver come to my house. Like a package normal arrives at 15.00h at the latest in the locker. A DHL delivery to my house doesn’t come until 19.00h and it’s fuck knows when it actually arrives. I once had a delivery driver at my door at 23.00h

This is true, I have one arriving on Thursday now it's taking up at least 50% of my thoughts

Same here. Ordered something last week and it's still in "ordered" status with no shipment or tracking confirmation. Brain can not stop thinking if it will actually be here on time with only a day and a half left.

They just leave it at the door
Only if I'm lucky
It's Friday. You didn't answer the door within 3 seconds. We will reattempt delivery on Monday.

3 seconds? No, he didn't even rang.
Reattempt? No, he will take it to the nearest parcel shop.
Nearest? No, some random shop in the city. -

Me, the one time I order something every year: "Oh shit oh shit oh shit are they gonna bring it to my door? the depot? Or maybe they'll leave it at the post office again or shit maybe they'll try to find my house but can't because google maps sucks here and they'll take it back and someone will give me crap for living in a place that doesn't exist oh shit oh shit oh shit I'm never ordering something ever again it's all gonna fail! I better call the depot and let them know that something might be dropped off with them..."
Meanwhile, my wife who orders 5 billion things that all arrive without incident: "Oh neat! Another parcel! I forgot I ordered this!"

I know this is probably the worst place I could possibly pose this question, but I've been wondering, so here goes. But first some background.
Probably within the past year or two, I discovered that FedEx started showing the name and a photo of the delivery driver on the tracking pages. Since they started doing that, I've noticed a very strong trend.
Whenever my package is late, meaning it's marked as "Out for delivery" on a given day, but doesn't arrive, it's always the same driver. Now it's at the point where if I get a notification that my package is out for delivery and I happen to see that Bob (not his real name) is the driver, I know for sure it's not coming that day. Sometimes it'll come the following day, but most often it doesn't get delivered until a different driver shows up on the tracking page several days later.
So, I'm wondering, when they know they don't plan on actually making a delivery attempt but they need to mark the package as out for delivery, do they just have a designated "fake" driver they assign it to? Is Bob even a real human?

Sounds like Bob is just bad at his job.

I'm probably just overthinking it, but the more I see these ADHD comics/memes, I feel like I've been living my entire life undiagnosed.
