Whats the most weirdly aggressive mod removal reason you've received in your ModLog?
-
Oh man, it's been a while. Without looking up the mod log to confirm, I think i was annoyed the person I was arguing with was bad at it. I probably said something very insulting for no good reason. I can tend to do that every now and again.
Honestly, I find civil skepticism is more than enough 97% of the time

Reason: Low-effort garbage
Is that standard boilerplate enumerated removal reason or is that personalized?
I even took time to italicise and bold certain parts of the title
I get that Heil Honey, I'm Home is controversial but its still worthy of inquiry; even if it wasnt, I feel like thats not really a decision mods should be proactively making, thats more curation and it sort of conflicts with the spirit of Lemmy and civil dialectical discussion in general
What a joyk?!

Only once had my post removed, from [email protected] with the reason "Take a break". Not especially offensive as a message, but also not a real justification since it was the first time I posted in that community.
But the post and screenshot was of a post by the mod of [email protected] saying something idiotic and been widely called on it. But when someone posted it to that community the mod deleted the post. I don't normally get involved in dumb Internet drama (which is why this is the only time I've ever had an interaction with a mod) but the hypocracy of running a community for criticising Internet dumbassery while being completely unwilling to face criticism for your own mistakes was just beyond the pale.

I've had one post removed: a photo of a motorcycle helmet, in a public coffee shop, on a ride that I went on with my mother. Reason: nudity.....

Does it count as 'weirdly aggressive' that I had a comment removed for an unsourced quotation? Because I was quoting the person I was responding to, directly in the comment I was replying to.

wrote last edited by [email protected]a mod of [email protected] did some power tripping shit (don't remember the context) and when I said "the mod of usa authoratism is being authoritarian lol" or something kinda like that I got this gem
iirc the mod got removed from the sub.
edit: found the context

I don’t even know how to check that

I dunno but it generally is good etiquette to more explicitly quote things think
And it helps make context clearer -

Got a removal for "rule 4" on one of the UK subs. Looking at the non-numbered rules on the sidebar, I think it correlates with "low effort, spam, or nonsensical post". I'd spent a while writing it and suspect that the mod disagreed with the stance I'd taken on a hot button issue.

I don’t even know how to check that
type in your instance URL then add /modlog at the end

I guess I downvoted too much? There were a lot of clickbait titles with zero description. I also upvoted quality posts

I love the community, I just hate the posts.
