And because I knew cowards like you are still way too numerous, too afraid to actually stand up for what's right, terrified so much they can't even let people celebrate when the world was made just a tiny bit better by the elimination of someone terrible bringing terrible things into existence.
Those of us who want people like Kirk dead don't want it for the sake of violence, we want it so the future can be a better place for all. Unlike Kirk and his ilk that want violence so that only the ones they choose can have it all. If you can't tell that difference, it says way more about your ideals than you may realize.

It is possible to be empathetic about the manner of his death and the suffering it has caused while still being happy he is gone.
Eh, I've nearly died from blood loss. He didn't suffer much, was probably unconscious within the second with where he got hit. Maybe barely enough time to register some pain but not for long.

His family shouldn't expect empathy, and he wouldn't want his death to distract from full Epstein file disclosure.
Assuming his kids are young enough, I'd feel bad for them. They probably don't understand well enough.
His wife though I don't care for at all, and will likely use his death for profit and to make her kids extremists. One can only hope they question why their father was hated enough to be killed while most people everyday aren't.

The law protects free speech, which is the cornerstone of democracy. Answering free speech with violence is the opposite of democracy. Any society based on our allowing murdering people that you disagree with is doomed to fail.
Accountability is also a cornerstone of Democracy, moreso than absolute free speech. Yet there's been a lack of that too.
If anything, unrestricted speech is the seed of authoritarianism, because it allows the segregation of people in society. Hence the paradox of tolerance.
Also, when the laws only enforce one way, the people will ensure justice comes a different way.

Julius Streicher met his end on October 16, 1946, hanged from the neck in Nuremberg Prison.

Earlier this year, Utah passed House Bill 128 allowing people to conceal carry firearms on university campuses. One of the campuses where conceal carry was now permitted is, of course, Utah Valley University, where Charlie Kirk was visiting today. He was sitting under a tent with the slogan "Prove Me Wrong".
Immediately before the shooting, he was taking questions from the audience:
“Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?” an audience member asked. Kirk responded, “Too many.”
The questioner followed up: “Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?”
“Counting or not counting gang violence?” Kirk asked.
Then a single shot rang out.
It's unfortunate that he's ineligible for the Darwin Award because he leaves behind 2 very young children and a culture warrior wife, because otherwise he'd be a great nominee for the 2025 Darwin Awards. Normally to get a Darwin Award someone has to directly kill themselves. But, I think in this case we could have make an exception for someone who was a cheerleader for gun rights and was sitting directly under a banner saying "Prove Me Wrong" when he was killed with a gun.

It just seems to me that we’re doomed as a species to continuously roll backwards into monstrosity and suffering. We’re animals. We really are.
Even the people who want a better and more just world think that it needs to be covered in flames first to get there.
It’s all some big game and the only people who keep losing are the regular people who just want to eat and not go to bed hungry.
When some big war comes, it will be fought by children again while all the so called thinkers on all sides dream of rebuilding in the aftermath, only to end up right back in the same mess all over again.
That’s why I’m so angry. Even the people who study history seem to miss everything between the lines.
Someone will take Charlie Kirk’s place. They always do. The next person will rally people to retaliate and be more extreme on his rhetoric.
When the next big war comes, we need to just take all of the people who advocated for it and throw them into a field and let them have it out. That isn’t ever how it goes though.

I'm saying there's a 98% chance he was terrible to his kids. Just a 2% chance that he wasn't, and a 50% chance that even if he was, his kids liked him (when you've seen a person love someone who beats them up, you'll realize that's unfortunately very possible).
Was he extremely homophobic and/or unusually outspoken against pedos? If he was then yeah, very good chance that he might've done things to them. Hard to keep track of all the shit he did

It's always interesting when they use expressions like, god-given rights. That's not how it works. A right, in the US, is a privilege that has stronger legal protections. That's all. It's definitely not given by anyone other than the US government.
