Does it also block Facebook's newly publicized "localhost tracking"? I'm not familiar with how it works, just that it worms its way around most other tracking blocks.

That tracking method seems to require the user to have an official app from Meta installed on their phone, so third party apps like this should be immune.

It works by the app opening a local port the website can connect to.
If this app doesn't open a port (why should it?) then it's ok. -
