I hadn't watched in a while, it was the first time for my gf.

It was quite nice, the Mexican Dia de Muertos aesthetic is beautiful and refreshing, the music plays an integral part to the story, and the characters are compelling. Definitely recommend.

I and my family love how Coco shows death as something that isn't scary. I think it does a great job embracing family beyond death.

And the songs are good! Hope your girlfriend enjoyed it as well!

Yes, that's another nice aspect of the movie!

        And yes, she did!

I think the movie did a great job embodying Dia de los Muertos and is a keeper for me.

My husband and I watched this in theaters four times, and a few more times at home. It became one of my favorite movies quite easily.
