Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You keep Jaws 3D out your fucking mouth. Jurassic Park wishes it could create a masterpiece like that!
Have you seen JW:Dominion? Dinosaur auction in a house goes wrong. In a house. It's so dumb you have to see it. It has the over produced idiocy of Jaws 3D with much of the movie's climax feeling like Bruce going through a window.

The first Jurassic Park movie is brilliant & important.
The 2nd one is fun, but not as good as the first.
The 3rd one isn't very good, but is still better than any of the Jurassic World movies.
The 'Jurassic World' "movies" aren't part of the 'Jurassic Park' franchise in my house.

You know what is deadlier than a gun? A gun that makes dinosaurs attack. lol that was some great shit. That was a close but still very tame. Plus it was a twist towards the end. I need a full movie like that. Jaws vs Jurassic Park 3D?

The 2nd movie was also based on a book (Lost World by Crichton), so it had solid source material to work with. It also helped that Spielberg was still involved.
I actually really liked the Lost World book, it was really engaging.
The movie was OK, it could have been a lot better, they failed to fully capitalize on the source material.

Both screen & written versions of 'The Lost World' are inferior to 'Jurassic Park'.
We both know this is true. So does everyone else, including Crichton himself.
Another thought, wouldn't it be super cool to see a really good screenplay for 'Timeline'!?

I did think the book was closer to the quality of the original (but never reaching it) while the movie version was mediocre.I am surprised they haven't released a Timeline movie yet, it seems like a good fit for a mass market movie (plus you'll have all the Crichton fans).

Yeah, if you love the book you'll probably be disappointed.
Just pretend you haven't read it. It's actually a pretty fun flick, it just doesn't live up to the book; in any proportion.

That's no excuse. How many Marvel films (starting with 'Howard The Duck') did it take for MCU to begin to be successful.
They just need to reboot it a billion times. I forget the latin addige, but it is basically 'Some Will Hit, Some Will Miss'

LOL, hell no. The Jaws sequels were stupid even by 80s standards. Friends and I saw Jaws 3D in the theater and were like, "What the fuck was that?" This is the same gang who thought The Ice Pirates was master cinema and The Beastmaster was top tier television.
For myself, I really like the first World movie, the second was sorta OK, the third was absolutely incomprehensible. Watched it 3 times, no idea what it was about, can't remember a single scene.
Now for the really hateful opinion! Jurassic Park III was damned good.
