Calls for boycotting US products spread in northern Europe
-
I imagine that would be very easy, outside of software and digital services.
Even in Canada I've nearly managed.
-
Bro, me too, fuck everything about trump, and right now, fuck us. Iām not buying shit unless I have to. Except from local shops.
-
It's a small thing, and at least please know that you have allies and sympathetic minds here on Fedi.
-
Boycotts echo louder than speeches; Haltbakk Bunkers leads by example.
-
Can we start a community in a National Forest somewhere? Since doge fired most of the national park rangers, we shouldn't have too much trouble and can guarantee that at least that particular area stays clear of garbage and deforesting.
-
Add Google to that.
-
Fucking cowards. "Free world" my ass
-
Change the system from within.
-
I would've agreed with you a decade or two ago, but they changed the recipe.
-
People should focus on boycotting evil corporations in favor of open, sustainable and fair alternatives. Picking a fight against another nation is only taking people away from that objective
-
I would if I could
-
I'm boycotting everything. Shopping local if I have to have something. Cash only. I only carry my bank card and one credit card for emergencies.
-
No. People should boycott all companies which operates in an evil country. There exist plenty of ethical companies that aren't from usa.

For people who invest into MSCI world check out DBX0VH. MSCI ex-US.

Is there a 'Buy African' list? I wasn't able to find one so far.

It was a private company that decided not to provide their refueling services to the American Navy, not the Norwegian government. What the government is saying is that they will not be not doing the same that Haltbakk Bunkers is doing. But this company stays firm. The practical effects will probably be minimal, since they are an important but rather small actor in the sector. But as a Norwegian, I am proud of them! (And not so much of my government).

Which countries aren't evil? I believe we are all on the same boat here that's why people need to help each other rather than picking up nationalistic fights.

Sorry, but usa is indeed very much more evil than most other countries. E.g. overthrowing democratically elected leaders in other countries, committing war crimes, taking the side of other countries invading others, etc. All countries are not equally bad and usa is one of the worst, especially with Trump in power.
