People forget that snoop dogg is actually a theatre kid who wanted to play the part of piece of shit gangster, and ended up with a murder charge. He then used memes and people on the internet to make himself a figure of memes and good guy propaganda. I don’t think he’s awful but he’s not the nice guy that internet fanboys portray him as

I recognize this is a meme, but is there an actual citation on where and when he said this? I want to hate him for it, but I also want to do my due diligence.

That movie is set way in the future and the baby looks like both of the mothers. I don't think it was an adoption, I think the assumption is that they somehow figured out a way to have 2 women have a baby together with both of their DNA in the future. I watched it with my kid n kinda thought huh, that's a bit of an odd choice, but my kids didn't ask, and frankly I didn't care. The movie was shit though, and this tiny, weird bit of plot was irrelevant to it sucking. The decision to replace the voice actor for Buzz was super annoying. He just sounded wrong and the movie was fucking space groundhog day but worse.

Sperm banks stock from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and etc to enable this; sometimes they use donor material from siblings on the non ... Directy involved partner for the same reason

So he's done like a reverse MC Hammer. From OG to PG.

We have the technology to do this now, it's just not widely used.

It's wild to me that someone who got rich selling songs to teens about fucking bitches, selling drugs and killing cops could keep a straight have (edit: face! Straight face!) while saying he's offended about anything.

This thread seems so triggered.
He's not expressing an uncommon opinion. Lots of parents/grandparents dislike overtly lgbtq+ content in kid-focused media, because it results in kids asking questions the adults aren't prepared / comfortable answering. They're basically just saying that discussing "adult" relationships is an "adult" topic, and shouldn't be something coming about as a result of a little kid movie.

Surely, scary topics that must never be mentioned!

I don't give a fuck if they don't "like" it. They have zero problem exposing kids to heterosexual relationships.
What's "triggered" about opposing that illogical, hypocritical bullshit?

He made adult music knowing it would be listened to by children. At some point in his career he must have realized he was talking directly to children while in the studio.
I'm sure he cares about kids and isn't just a stupid asshole saying a line because something pulled his string.
~You got a stick in your ass, Snoop!~

Snoop deserves criticism for this and his Trump inauguration appearance, but this is a deeply stupid criticism that can be made about literally any entertainer.

Lazy troll
You sound triggered
Pretending that depicting relationships in movies is "adult" content is some really cringe ass behavior, and it isn't how adults actually act unless they have serious issues with bigotry.

it's not condemnation, it's pointing out hypocrisy.
wrote last edited by [email protected]I don't know if hypocrisy is the right term. Maybe in an extremely broad sense but then it starts to lose its meaning.

Broadly it might not be worthy of condemnation, but in the context of "child appropriate" it would seem to be way less appropriate than what he is complaining about.
I think Snoop is being a dumbass here (like I did when he went to Trump's inauguration party) but this is a bad argument. He didn't make the music for young children.
