Help with two games installed via heroic

I have 2 questions both for games installed via heroic. First one is trinity fusion - yesterday i installed it and input wasnt working so i removed it. But today i decided to give a chance with xinput but after installing it again game is detecting 800x600 resolution only. Second question is to Deus Ex Human Revolution - if launched from desktop mode i can control it using steam deck dpad but if launched from game mode it does not recognize it only touch screen is working as input. Until those games i had no issues with titles like FIST or Death Stranding

Have you tried trinity fusion in desktop mode to see if it has more resolution options there? Also worth cycling through fullscreen/borderless/etc and seeing if any of those give more resolution options.
Dues Ex Human Revolution is pretty old, I don't think it has controller support. Have you tried a control scheme that uses inputs like wasd and mouse?

In my experience, 2.17.x killed controller input in game mode.
There's a weird fix where you quickly enable and disable uwu mode in the heroic game settings but I had zero luck
Had to install an appimage of 2.16.2 to play Grindstone.
Games in desktop are not affected.
