Facebook and Google no longer hassling me trying to log in despite a good long password after moving to a new home, thus being on a different network in a different city helped me rethink my dependence on both of those services. Google presented me with a questionnaire that was just weird, with question like "what month of what year did you open your account?" (how would I know, the account had existed since 2005?) and then following up with a question what city I was in when I opened the account (again, how would I know?). With Facebook, I noticed there was absolutely no way to log in from another country without already having installed the app, it didn't even help to add my phone number to the account.

Google never pestered me although occasionally, I have to confirm my e-mail address for account recovery.
My problems with Facebook started when I changed my Internet provided and grew when I changed my e-amail address. No longer being able to log in to my facebook account is no big loss - only used it to keep in touch with a handful of friends abroad, anyways. The trouble is that of some I don't have up-to-date e-mail addresses. -

I think the problem comes from the misinterpretation of 'chat' as a conversation and not as an avenue of support. Live Chat or any capitalized Chat might better said the next title to avoid confusion.
BUT, live chat is stupid and as an IT professional beholden to a Live Chat my users don't need, just call them. If you don't have time to call, email them. Response times are UP with chat, but resolution times are DOWN. More deflection in a chat agent than service

A comment isn't the post. You could have provided that context in the post. But you didn't. You chose not to.
You titled it "the official contact" and I laid out how that's misleading. Now you say it's how you chat with them. Those are different things.
I can't see how you can say no that's not misleading. It omitted information, and mislabeled, in a way that seems more extreme and emotion inducing than it factually is and a fair representation would be
You could have titled it "suggests chat on Facebook". But you titled it "the official way to contact".

It's just so bad, but also too weird Specially after the recent EU court ruling about the EU not protecting privacy for citizens using Facebook to communicate with the EU
