I'm not sure if you are trolling. 20 minutes is a random number we pick up it probably take even less and 20 minutes is not really much time, we waste more time doing more useless things

1. you should always have external backups for your important data anyway

2. you can just export/import your user settings. You only lose comment history but you can just check that from a different instance if you want to.

/r/nerf created their communities on my instance for a migration but their base wasn't a fan so they only use [email protected] as a backup.
