It’s more likely to be political apathy with the Brits. Most of us don’t seem to get and/or bother about politics…also only around 25% of the country were dense enough to vote for Brexit.

Yeah you are probably right, as the saying goes: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
But them again Brexit was mostly about xenophobia, which is both. -

Absolutely, they've been praised for best range for the price, but the cars are crap, with 30% failing 4 year safety check in Denmark.
They also have a number of issues, on how functions are handled, both essential and non essential, that I personally suspect is the reason they have the worst accident record of all brands. Blinker on the steering wheel instead of on a stick, is OK in maybe 95% of the situations you need to use them, but the remaining 5% it's awkward and distracting, and maybe people completely fail to use them correctly.
So yes they are crap, in part because Tesla ignores safety or is even ignorant about why things are done like they are. And this is shown blatantly clear with the 4 years safety check here in Denmark. -
Correction: Android and apple carplay are just as worse, maybe even more so.
If you're not American it doesnt really matter. Your data in china or your data in the US. Both are bad, m'kay?
