Government-run liquor stores in B.C. have begun pulling "red-state" U.S.-made alcohol brands from store shelves as part of the province's initial response to new American tariffs on Canadian goods.

I like that BC is specifically targeting US liquor made in red states. Not that I disagree with the wholesale removal of US liquor brands in Ontario, but I appreciate BC calling out red states specifically.

Not sure if there's anything my red state produces that is exported to Canada, but feel free to block those too.

Musk, at the height of his popularity, made it a significant part of his life to insist that a hero who rescued people trapped in a cave was a pedophile because they turned down his robot that wouldn't even fit in the tunnels.

I disagree. Placing the same restrictions on blue states also motivates them to speak up and rally against Trump. Plus, don't discount how many red voters exist in blue states. They are worth reaching as well.

Ah, but you see, he was a genius who was saving the world through EVs and space travel.

I do think a lot of it was based on sock puppets on social media. But I also think it is just an inherent side effect of all of us defaulting to being in content bubbles and many people going farther to outright block "political" content.
