Then you are definitely violating the rules of this community right now:
But I won't report you for it, I just think the irony is very amusing.

Nono you see, Trump loves Palestinians, he’s moving them to a safe space so they don’t get genocided again.
Their land? Well he will take care of it in the meantime… What a humanitarian guy!

People really seem to think there is some sort of major dividing line between ethnic cleansing and genocide and I do not get it.

we're talking in circles. today is a big day for me. i suggest instead of responding to me when you're completely entrenched into your way of thought you spend some time today with some other marginalized people and help them out. i'm done with this conversation. it's clear you're the type of anarchist from David Rovics' "i'm a better anarchist than you"

That's a UN resolution, not an actual cease fire. The cease fire would require agreement from the warring parties involved.
And god, our history of vetoing UN resolutions against Israel is as long as my arm.
My favorite goes back to George W. Bush and his excuse to invade Iraq, if you recall he kept going on and on about how Iraq was in violation of something like 17 or 18 resolutions... Meanwhile Israel was breaking over 80 of them and it would have been more than 100 except for the US veto.

The dividing line is how good your PR is.

My point is that Democrats enabled a Fascist to have any chance of winning. Any half competent candidate should have run laps around Trump. And as long as you keep supporting the democratic party despite that, the longer stuff like this will keep happening. You need to find a way to hold your party responsible. Blaming the voter is the absolute opposite of that.

A resolution, for a ceasefire, that the US blocked.
And yes, US backing genocide has a long, and storied tradition, if you will. Hitler got his "best" ideas for it, from the US.

Hilary is responsible for Trump. she pushed him in the primary.

They aren’t herding me anywhere, without a fight.
Spoken like a true warrior. /s
That’s why we arm ourselves, and train, and organize.
The reason why actual revolutionaries arm and train and organize is for the prospect of action striking back against the institutions of power. Not because it'll save any individual one of them. Fuck, being more likely to die is one of the first things revolutionaries against oppressive governments have to get through their heads. And heroic shootouts with the military for all the world to see are not how things usually go. You get black-fucking-bagged on your way back from the grocery store.
And it’s been getting worse for everyone since like… 1976 on so?
Jesus fucking Christ.

the vote was between "harm stays the same" and "harm gets worse"
the harm is getting worse
we were still going to work on mutual aid, educating children, harm prevention, putting out messaging about the truth to wake up our fellow brethren. just now we have to do it while our most marginalized sisters are slipping into hiding because they're at more risk of being detained for speaking up and speaking out.
anyway. i'm done with this thread. today is a big day in my community. please spend some time today with your marginalized sisters. they need you.

Yes the internet exists, but if she hasn't been able to make a public statement about every bat shit idea, or if there is no recording of her saying anything of it, it couldn't be shared.

Sigh. We fight for those on the left and right of us.
If it was just for me, then why would I suggest training, arming AND organizing?

Safety in numbers is a common delusion.
If it's not for you, why the fuck did you bring it up as part of "Well, they won't take ME without a fight!" macho posturing?

A resolution that had no binding action on Israel or Hamas is not a cease fire. It's a performative action of "Israel bad", which is why the US vetoed it.
-

So, do you suggest going without a fight? Do you not understand how community defense works?
-

Even a performative action would have been better than nothing you genocidal cunt
