If the Reddit mascot's name is "Snoo," then the Lemmy mascot's name is . . . ?
-
. . . just "Lemmy?" "Lem?" Something else entirely?
Another possibility could be "Stan" or "Stanislaw" (because of Stanisław Lem).
Lemmy of Motörhead's real name is "Ian Fraser Kilmister," so our guy could also be named "Ian" or "Kilmister;" Fraser probably not being a great choice for obvious reasons.
(Have I spent way too much time thinking about this? Is it way past time for me to stop drinking coffee and go to bed? You bet! 🤪)

It's more common than I was aware for software mascots to have distinct names from their respective products.
I kind of like "Ian". Seems suitably humble for a diminutive little rodent.
Another option might be from the band's own mascot, Snaggletooth.

Snaggletooth is kind of scary-looking , but ok!
From Wikipedia: "It was later suggested by some that the name originated from the phrase "lemmy a quid 'til Friday" because of his alleged habit of borrowing money from people to play slot machines."

I understand. In death, members of Lemmy do have a name. His name is Lemmy.

Has a certain ring to it (Should we vote on this? Can we vote on this? Probably would want to get the ok first from the Admins since it is their baby).

Isn't it obvious? It's 'loo'; when you use this site you're 'going to the loo'.

His name is Lemmy...Lemmy? Do we say Lemmy like last name and first name? Or just once, like Madonna?
