Hey the clay pot idea is great and I feel silly for having not thought of it. I'll have to look around for that. Get the pot and then have someone paint it later. Thanks for that.
As for the wood, that also sounds nice. A buddy actually suggested something similar and then having it painted or carved on.

Thank you. Him dying was something I've been preparing for for a long time so it's been more relief than anything. I miss him but I try to look at it as he's no longer suffering, y'know?
A laser engraved wood box is a fantastic idea. I'll look into that. Any sellers on Etsy or anywhere you'd recommend? I tried searching this morning but found so much it felt overwhelming.

I haven't yet but I was trying to avoid it. I wanted something bespoke, made by someone who isn't being paid slave wages. I hope that doesn't come off as arrogant.
Someone else suggested a clay pot modeled after the in-game ones and that's a very neat idea.

You know along those lines you might just want to see if there is any one local that does pottery and maybe approach them for something custom.

Not what you asked but there are pottery shops where you can sign up for a course and make your own clay pot.

I completely get the relief when a loved one passes from a long health struggle. Everyone's grief journey is different, and even mine was different between different family members' passings. But for me all sorts of other complicated emotions continue to bubble up from time to time regarding my mom. The waves get further and further apart, but it may never completely go away. Sending you thoughts of support and comfort.
I looked up the old orders on Etsy but the sellers I used back then have since closed their shops.
