Samuel L Jackson dressed as Uncle Sam at the Superbowl

For those out of the loop, here's Kendrick Lamar's halftime show: https://youtu.be/KDorKy-13ak

Time to dust off the snake-stomping boots.
-
I'm told it was actually a deeply political message, however, I can never understand what the fuck Kendrick is saying in his songs.
I'll have up look up the lyrics later I guess.
-
He was playing an antagonist character (way toned down but think of his character in Django) so they might have agreed with his take.
Sam kept urging Kendrick not to make a scene, not to make a fuss, just to stay nice and quiet. Clearly meant to be a baddie but likely lost on a lot of viewers.
-
I can't even say much about the lyrics. I just know that it was packed with symbolism and it was awesome having Samuel L. acting as Uncle Sam trying to tell Kendrick "what to do" and of course being ignored.
-
Incidentally, Iāve heard the Fox News crowd is currently butthurt about Kendrickās backup crew/dancers not being ādiverseā enough because they wanted more white people in it. So yeah, I donāt think they got it. To be fair though, itās hard to get people to read between the lines when they have a 3rd-grade reading level.

holy shit that was fire

He said in another comment he's already working on it.
