If you could only go to one time zone for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
-
I'd say UTC-6. Mostly because that's where I and most of the people I know live. However, It's a bit limiting, only 3 big countries and some pacific Islands.
My second choice would be UTC 0, because I think it covers a lot of land

The Party Time Zone

I think I'd stay in UTC -5 because there's plenty here on the east coast of the US, can go to big cities, mountains, Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico beaches; a lot of the populated part of Canada, Pacific coast in Peru.
I could make it the rest of my life with those options.
-
Good choice. I'm doing pretty good so far without ever leaving it.
-
Cst. My current time zone, unfortunately life is to good here. Does that mean I can only exist half the year though? How does daylight savings interact with this

In terms of practicality, probably UTC+0 since, after hardening my tech, it tends to be my default timezone when I'm browsing the net.
-
What the heck is that map projection? It's like Mercator on steroids.
-
UTC+08 Id be having a great time with all of China to explore.
-
That was the USSR.
-
Same. Angola to Sweden - the variety of environments and food cultures are massive.
-
Weird, I’ve always thought that is was like China
-
You're right, I don't know what I was thinking. Other than "commies hate time zones."
-
I think we are both wrong, China has one time zone. Russia and USSR did not.

That would be regular Mercator, actually. Greenland is as big as Africa in regular old Mercator projections.
