Great read. Curious that he didn't bring up Alan Wake 2, I felt like that was an absolutely amazing looking game. Though I'm no HDR expert so maybe I'm not seeing something.

In general, while some games still get HDR wrong, I'd read this article more as a time capsule from an age when HDR in gaming was still in its infancy.

Meanwhile, Shadow Warrior 2 with HRD looks amazing IF you raise the brightness a bit and lower the contrast (5-10% each would do it).
Best visuals I ever saw, even with how old the game is.

Yeah I saw that this morning when I tried to find the next article. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
