Ukraine’s Top Military Leadership: We Are Starting to Win, Russia Is Starting to Lose
-
I never defended russia. quit makin' shit up. also, unlike you bots, I have to sleep sometimes.
-
Ukraine's not a member of NATO and i never disputed who the primary aggressor was in this war.
-
They need to give it all they’ve got and go all out. Leave it all on the battlefield and give 100%. Don’t hold back and go the extra kilometer.
-
You might not want to use Israel as your benchmark of "fair".
-
Correct. This is also a proxy war with North Korea. Iran, too from what I recall.
-
Thank you for posting a source but that article suggests that the EU surpassed the US in support because we started to withhold some support mid 2023. I guess this means my comment wasn't the most apropriately timed but I'm not opposed to having a reduced support roll from when this started.

I can tell you straight up, the people living in RVs are not working 2 jobs in the US.
If we want to talk trailer parks, odds are they're still not working 2 jobs and if they are, they are going to have access to way more luxuries than rural Russians. Unfortunately, they're still probably not independent enough to avoid paying for things they can get for free, such as digital media.
There's not much of a comparison to be made, honestly. We have it way better in the US than they have it in Russia.

I spent some time Sunday with a refugee from Donbass. This isn't how she experienced it.
-
Ukraine’s not a member of NATO
Indeed. That's why I said maybe Ukraine should have been allowed to join NATO years ago. That might have prevented this invasion.
i never disputed who the primary aggressor was in this war
So you think Russia invaded, but then the West used this as an opportunity to harm Russia. Maybe the West wasn't interested in harming Russia for the sake of harming Russia. Maybe the West just wanted Russia to stop its invasion of Ukraine.

I respond half a day later and you call me a bot who doesn’t sleep, but you respond within like an hour and you’re a real boy lmao
-
Which is probably why they're trying to bid up Ukraine with the US using their own minerals.
-
Gotta get that asylum claim through somehow.
There is a reason lots of Ukrainians are actually ran to Russia instead -
Russia invaded and i think the west didn't care until we were out of our other forever wars and we needed a new way to keep the military industrial complex afloat.
-
Your not the only propagandists I'm responding to and your intial comment is clearly referencing some of my replies to other people. I'm already good enough. Quit projecting.
-
I'm so glad Lemmy lets me tag people
-
Very doubtful that it would work, but out of all the weird, crazy, and creative stories generated from World War 2, I wouldn't put it totally outside of any plausibility.
-
i agree.
-
They were indeed about to launch a counter offensive and indeed did. In 2023.
They did not get almost any of the equipment the west had promised to supply for bringing the offence plans to reality, so the counter offensive got botched. In 2024 there was no talk of a counter offensive. Remember that the last two quarters of 2024 Ukraine got zero military help from USA.You're mixing up the years.
-
Might be. I cannot know from over here
What are the luxuries they have? -
From Ukraine reclaiming their territory starting probably around summer 2026 or late winter 2026. The Russia won't be able to stop that if they don't have troops.
Regarding how the Ukrainian army is doing... That's a broad question. But, put shortly: they have managed to mostly hold back a Russian invasion for 11 years now. Especially the last 3 years it has been faring far over expectations. If you haven't heard of it, here's a wikipedia article about it: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russo-Ukrainian_War . It's high time you get acquainted with this theme now in 2025!
