    Hi,

    I recently got a basic forum setup and enabled the ActivityPub setting. Looking through the forums so far I found that I needed to set permissions for the Fediverse psuedo user. Which I did.

    I am still unable to search the User Account I made on this server. I am trying to get Federation working before opening the server to registration.

    Address is community.darkscribes.com and any other ideas would be appreciated. Will post a reply if I find a solution first.

      @CWSmith does the fediverse pseudo-user have the global "view users" privilege?

        @julian

        Yes. I believe I have set the Fediverse group with view user and view posts. I haven't done a post yet though figuring that verifying Federation would be doable by searching my user.

          @CWSmith right now seems the forum is down, but let me know when it's back and I'll try to take a look.

            @julian

            Should be online now. Been kinda fighting the server a little bit this evening.

              @CWSmith your user resolves with the URL https://community.darkscribes.com/user/cwsmith

              ... but the ActivityPub response identifies it as https://communuty.darkscribes.com/uid/1, which is not the correct URL.

              Please update config.json's url so the typo is fixed and test again 🙂

                Always something with my fingers.

                The number of times a problem I have is because of a typo...
