Russia allegedly invests billions in disinformation campaign to sway German elections
-
For a bit of context, elon is supporting the far right AfD. And AfD is pro russian oil and anti nato. Nato which might have to intervene if a nato member is attacked by russia.
If there is any party russia is supporting, it has to be AfD, imo that would make the most sense.
-
Worked great in the US, Nazi space karen definitely helped get trump elected
-
No. Shit. They do in the US too. It worked twice now.
-
Vladi, you want my vote?
Give me some monry. -
Personally all i heard about is politicians and parties affiliated with USA. I guess the billions russia spends are no match for whatever USA spend in propaganda and disinformation.

At the end of the day you are either with russia or with usa. Politicians job is to lie to people and get votes but their actions once they are elected are always clear. You are either with usa or against it.

At this point I would say you're either for democracy or against it. The USA has little to do with it, especially with Cheeto Benito currently in charge and doing his best to build his own little fascist kingdom. If you're pro-democracy in Germany, you don't have to like or support the US one bit, but you do need to be against AfD.
-
No ruler is for democracy they all strife for absolute power. I should have make it more clear in the previous comment by "you" i'm talking about politicians and parties not people or voters.
-
"Allegedly."
-
All that OR
Russia can't handle foreign countries having fair elections.
Surely you've heard of occams razor?
-
Im guessing its going to the AfD
-
What a crock of shit. Plenty of leaders have given up power. The US first president to show that there should be limits and to not set precendents. More recently the UK PM overseeing brexit stepped down as he wasnt the right person to see it through
-
Im not just Güssing. Its quite suspicious that a lot of their politicians have ties to Russia.
-
And in Bulgaria(?) too. There they had to redo the elections because of this (if I remember correctly)
-
The premise here is that Russia is pro Nazi?
Yeah that doesn't track
-
Maybe they meant rubles.
-
No, the premise is that the Nazis want to buy russian oil and gas and stop military aid to Ukraine. They also want to end Schengen, leave the Eurozone and maybe even leave the EU. All things that could destabilize all of Europe and the AfD in power helps empower other european extremist right parties, cascading those destabilizing effects through the entire Union.
