Our family did the KPop Demon Hunters sing along last weekend, and it was fun. We’d already seen the movie at least once each. The Honest Trailer video kinda nails it: “Frozen” energy with a hint of Spiderverse style and some memorable songs. Netflix must be absolutely salivating at the franchise potential too.
Then, I just finished Superman. It was nice. Gunn’s sensibilities worked well, and I kind of like the new DC setup where we can hopefully be spared a million origin stories.

Assault on Precinct 13, the 1976 version. I'm slowly working my way through all of John Carpenter's stuff. Very slowly.

My SO had never seen the 2003 Freaky Friday so we watched it this week. It held up really well! I never knew that there were so many versions or that it was based on a book.

Oh wow! It isn’t the origin story? That is the best thing I have ever heard about that movie. I doubt I will ever see it but it is good news hear that they are at least removing that redundancy.
