Janelle Monae has had some genius and beautiful sci fi going through all their music, as well as supreme bops, yet is absolutely nowhere near the pop queen she should be

I love Janelle Monae. Lipstick lover, Make Me Feel, and I Like That are a few of her amazing catalogue.

This group is great. I will add them to my playlist. They remind of Whole Wheat Bread.

I haven't heard that name is a hot minute! I dug Whole Wheat Bread tough in the early 2000's tough! But I'm glad you dig Get Dead, they have a handful of solid albums, I also really like Honesty Lives Elsewhere.

I'll start with Saul Williams. I found out about him because he opened for NiN. He was great. I thought he was going to break through when I heard him in a Nike commerical, but nope his social conscious rap didn't catch on.

What people or groups do you think should be more popular? Also name/link some songs.

No man is an island, but I often feel alone, so I find peace through.....ooohhmmmm....

De Staat, it's a really creative experimental rock band from The Netherlands. Bubble Gum is my favorite, but also check out the Vinticious Versions album which contains their songs in vintage style. They also have a talent for powerful album outros. The Inevitable End and Luther always give me goosebumps

He's great. I first heard him on a Ninja Tune compilation. I got to see him in a 100 seater doing a poetry night. All snaps!

Car seat headrest. Their songwriting and music choices blend together into something timeless and un-explainable. They're my favourite band.

Without a doubt my favourite band of all time. They're 99% of what I listen to. Seriously: if someone reading this is nervous about the future and hasn't listened to How To Leave Town, you're missing out.

The Pretty Reckless. I have become obsessed with Taylor Momsen's voice. There's something about it I feel is like a once in a generation quality.

I didn't realize it but I heard them before. I listened to a few more songs. Good taste. Her voice is recognizable.

I listened to Kitty Kitty, Witch Doctor, and Input Source Selector. Great music, I will add them to my growing list of new bands to get into.

                  Monster Truck.

Their album "Furiosity" is an absolute banger and they're a really great rock band.

Listening to Shutdown. I enjoy the melodic metal sound. Genius has more of a hype beat. I will add them to my workout mix.

The whole of the “www.pitchshifter.com” album is great. I honestly haven’t listened to much else of their stuff myself
