What are you gonna do? Tariff yourself into isolation? While Europe, UK, Canada, Mexico and possibly the rest of the British commonwealth trade and work more together to make up for the loss of the US?

This is the main issue I have while using Lemmy for a few weeks now. Echo chambers really become each other's echoes. The amount of deja vu 'news' that I have already seen a week ago from another community on another instance is too high. The same discussion goes on repeat. Feels like going in circles.

We are, hopefully, banding closer together because your leaders are alienating you from us. We never wanted this trade war and we never asked to have our sovereignty threatened.It's not against you. It's for us. You're stepping away from your allies, so we have to be closer.
