What's happening is wildly inconstitutional and violent in nature. It's just not military violence for a military coup. Not all coups involve the military, that, if anything, here might be a stabilizing force.

My history might be dusty but I don't think Hitler ever said he intended to become a dictator before people voted for him. His deception is what you might refer to as the coup.

Hitler was very vocal of his disdain for democracy, and he ran on that platform afaik.
The democratic Weimar Republic was what ruined Germany in his view. -

Im no expert either, but he did try the beer ball putsch which landed him a trial and jail time, before his actual rise to power. So his plans for a coup were definitely there.
