You were a good Christian man with moral principles with a wife and 2 kids. You were killed by a lunatic while you were exercising your freedom of speech, you were persecuted by your opponents. Some may say that's a form of fascism, the same party that accused you of being.
The violent rhetoric of the left influenced some weak minded soul to take you from your children, and also taken your quotes out of context.
Charlie Kirk never robbed a pregnant woman at gun point, or robbed a bank, or killed a woman on a train, but instead encouraged open conversation between all parties so they could understand each other in a meaningful way.
May you rest in peace, and may your naysayers see the evil in their ways and repent. They may mock you because they're unable to refute your debates, but they will reap what they sow.

Even the Bible shows that violence isn't only sin, as Jesus showed when he flipped the tables at the temple and even took the time to make a whip to chase out the money changers. In this case the changing of money for example being blasphemous enough to warrant violence from Jesus.
Likewise, Kirk never directly was violent with anyone, but that doesn't mean he wasn't sinful.
That you think the left is the only one spouting violent rhetoric though shows that you're just talking in bad faith however, when there are so many examples of the right wing - the one currently in absolute power + of doing so that it would probably be more than the word limit a comment on Lemmy has. I'm sure a book could be written just from violent quotes from the right. And not even recently but going on for decades.

It is possible to be empathetic about the manner of his death and the suffering it has caused while still being happy he is gone.
Eh, I've nearly died from blood loss. He didn't suffer much, was probably unconscious within the second with where he got hit. Maybe barely enough time to register some pain but not for long.

Assuming his kids are young enough, I'd feel bad for them. They probably don't understand well enough.
His wife though I don't care for at all, and will likely use his death for profit and to make her kids extremists. One can only hope they question why their father was hated enough to be killed while most people everyday aren't.

The law protects free speech, which is the cornerstone of democracy. Answering free speech with violence is the opposite of democracy. Any society based on our allowing murdering people that you disagree with is doomed to fail.
Accountability is also a cornerstone of Democracy, moreso than absolute free speech. Yet there's been a lack of that too.
If anything, unrestricted speech is the seed of authoritarianism, because it allows the segregation of people in society. Hence the paradox of tolerance.
Also, when the laws only enforce one way, the people will ensure justice comes a different way.
