I've also never been in a relationship that totally satisfied my sex drive, so I feel this a lot. My fiance used to be very sexual like me, but then she went on antidepressants and that was kinda killed. Now, she's off then again, but her sex drive never rebounded, even though she thinks I'm more attractive now that I've been working out and gained muscle. I'd say we only really have sex where we're both equally enjoying it maybe once every few weeks to once a month. If her drive were the same as mine, that would be once or twice a day. Just a shitty situation for me.

11.4% take anti depressants and between 40-65% experience some degree of sexual dysfunction so even using the highest numbers and assuming that the sexual dysfunction completely eliminates interest in sex (it doesnât) that would only be 7.41%

Besides plenty of other reasons people mentioned, Gen Z in particular is pretty antisocial. I've seen them hang out at bars, they might get one drink and just stare at their phone. Just anecdotal, but from what I've gathered it definitely feels like those type of folk either don't know how to have fun or are averse to it. I don't mean that in a completely negative way, either. I think covid really made a lot of people in general more socially inept. Again, I don't mean that to denegrate and I've definitely felt that a bit myself.

Younger generations seem to treat basic conversation as cringeworthy. Like the fact that youâre even talking to them is seen as appalling, regardless of the context.
Iâve seen kids walk up to a register at a fast food joint, then act surprised and put off when the cashier asked for their order. Like the cashier was in the wrong for initiating a conversation. Oftentimes, the kid wonât even respond until the cashier is like âooookay, uhh⌠If youâre not ready to order, can you step out of line?â
The best description Iâve seen for it is âtheyâre waiting for the dialog options to load.â Because it 100% looks like theyâre just waiting for some external force to move the conversation along. It reminds me of when boomers get the lead paint stare while waiting for the card reader to finish reading their chip.
