I think the joke premise is shooting the black and leaving the white. Should have been funnier if the photo showed an american pig.

It's basically a giant marketing vehicle for Oscar Mayer hot dogs! They usually hand out those little hot dog shaped whistles (called "Wienerwhistles") and sometimes coupons for thier products. Theyre actually driven by recent college grads called "Hotdoggers" who travel the country for a year.

I feel like North Korean news wouldn't be so casual about opposition and political protests. Not that they wouldn't mention them. But I'd expect them to lean much more into their anti-capitalist righteousness or something along those lines.

You have made this assertion without any real evidence. The single study, if you are able to read more than the abstract, doesn't show the overall bite rate, the severity of bites, none of this. If you make an assertion that any reduction in dogs capable of doing harm, "dangerous" in the sense that a powerful car is dangerous, has no impact on the severity and frequency of injuries, this is not an evidence based assertion. It is understandable to have an opinion about an issue, but it is dishonest to present it as evidence based if there is none.

I want to invite my neighbours over for a bbq and maybe board games because we have a lot of the same hobbies, but also I kind of like our relationship as is. Sometimes we chat, I see their cat in their window, and we do the wave when we see each other in the driveway. It’s pretty much perfect as is.

I own a skoolie, and I can say that they start out cheap but they're still pretty expensive to keep going. My bus cost me about $4K on eBay but I've had to drop another $16K just on mechanical stuff, and that's not counting any of the costs of converting it to a motorhome proper. For bonus points, they're also very difficult to register and insure and a lot of parks and campgrounds don't accept them. Making a bus into a melon hauler is a much more practical idea.
