2. No bigotry or harassment, be civil

No bigotry, hardline stance. Try not to get too heated when entering into a discussion or debate. We are here to talk and discuss about one of our passions, not fight or be exposed to hate. Sure, but if they keep trying to go bigger, they WILL hit a ceiling. And they have yet to show a willingness to go smaller with a subsequent project when one ends up too big to pay for itself. Squenix does not seem to know how to match a budget to the size of the market that actually exists, and only ever goes smaller in scope when something is a "side project" adjacent to a main product. And the signs that they are finally starting to make the same mistake with FF are beginning to show. Intergrade was not as big as main FF installments, but it was well received by a lot of players. As a result they immediately scaled up Rebirth to be as big, or bigger, than anything they've done. And lo and behold, players coming from Intergrade love it, but it didn't magically mean a bunch more people bought it.

I don’t have the nerve to try to hack my device their device. Your own device, such as Steam Deck, you don't have to hack, you can run anything on it however you like.

I haven't played yet, but the music in the trailers wasn't that special. Imma be honest though, while the music in 2016 and Eternal is great on its own, in the moment, while fighting, I really didn't care, and was more concerned about surviving and blasting demons. I just re-played Eternal, and I couldn't tell you a single music track that I remember. Edit: Just finished the first level. By default, the sound effects are so loud, that I barely hear the music during a fight, which is fine by me. Just like in the previous games, outside of combat it's mostly ambient and no music.

My friend, your heartfelt recommendation is appreciated and will be ignored because I'm not into Asian mystique. For my part, I I recommend that you revisit the DOOM series. Of course you want a modern zdoom egine to play the early ones. Do not overlook Sigil and the other John Romero wads, which are legit extensions to the story. Proceed to DOOM 3 and discover BFG Edition, which includes an entirely new campaign called The Lost Patrol. After that play DOOM 2016. Stop there. There has never been a better video game made since. You can give up gaming now.

Also, if you're rooting for deflation: more often than not, when deflation happens, things are not going great in terms of economics.

I'm happy to see that it looks good! The return to a more serious style is welcome after 3 games of perhaps taking it too far. First impression is it seems a lot more Destiny-like: personal vehicles, quests you can pick up anywhere, dynamic events. I'm not complaining necessarily, but looks like they took some notes. The movement options seem nice but not sure they add that much really. If they don't solve a challenge that the enemies provide then it's kinda pointless. I almost never used slide or ground pound in combat in previous games because I was better off just shooting the enemies. And as much as I love my Jakobs weapons, I was hoping to see a manufacturer revamp. They even used the same companies in Tiny Tina's with only minor tweaks. The heavy weapons sharing a slot with grenades looks to be a fantastic change though, very welcome. Also, no lip-sync on NPCs? Looks weird having Amara speaking but her character do nothing. Overall though looks like a solid but not ground-breaking entry. The guns look just as fun as before and the art design is a step up (those bosses!) from before which I love to see. I know people complained about the Vault Hunters being generic but I don't have a huge issue with it. I don't need my characters to be the blue-haired anime character sitting by the window. Thanks for posting, I wouldn't have seen this otherwise.

I think a lot of what comes out of Japan is better than the West because they haven't given up their idea of the company man. Like it or not, having to switch jobs every few years is going to impact your performance. Most of you have no idea how much easier it is to process information when you accept that you'll be doing it the same way for decades.

As someone who loves JRPGs as a genre but has generally grown out of their anime phase, Expedition 33 looks really interesting. I've been eyeing it since the announcement trailer and its recent success got me curious. A co-worker told me that it's just 20-30 hours to beat, which is a huge plus for me (don't have the patience to clear 100-200 hrs games anymore - looking at you, Persona 5). I'll probably get it this summer as soon as I manage to get some free time from work.

I think even better is the multitude of sites that have just copy/pasted the wikia 'Oblivion Console Commands' page as 'new content' for Oblivion Remastered - but quite a few of the listed commands don't work on Remastered. I know they copied the wikia page and not the UESP page too as only UESP mentions you occasionally need to wrap refid's in quotes for Oblivion. (if you're using a refid as the first part of a command ie. "abc123".moveto player) which you'll need to know as PRID is dead. edit: bat doesn't work either! This is a travesty! Won't someone rid me of these turbulent quest items!
