Tbf, both sides have had a tendency to have some rapid people who control the public conversation, attacking anyone whose opinions vary even the slightest from theirs. I have had the displeasure of meeting a few of the leftwing ones on this platform and they tend to be entirely unself aware about how extreme and hostile they come off to others. It's the reason I ended up filtering out as much political content as possible. I left corporate social media because I wanted to get away from mindless hateful lunatics, but honestly, this place is just as unbearable as the rest of social media if you let it hit you unfiltered. And I have also experienced being accused of being a fascist despite being very much center left. Some people are fucking insane on here. Just as insane as some of the crazy right-wingers I have had the displeasure of encountering. Ideological fanatics suck no matter what side they are on because nuance repulses them and everything is a paranoid search for an enemy to attack. I want nothing to do with people who behave like that.

Defrauding the government for things you cannot possibly provide isn't really showing your companies quality. Apple actually makes things people use and makes a ton of money doing it. Elon makes bad cars and spaceships that blow up a LOT. Neither of these is actually profitable without welfare. He is good at high stakes welfare fraud whilst Apple is good at actually earning money.

Honestly it did largely start off as me laughing at idiots missing the point that to fight capitalism they could do almost anything else short of shopping at the Gucci store for their T-Shirts. But if this is their "Fisher Price My first act of rebellion" well thats not really a bad thing.
